What was needed?

Sulgrave Village Shop was opened as a workers co-operative when Sulgrave's previous village shop closed due to competition from supermarkets. It has received national media coverage in the press and on TV, and received various prestigious nominations and awards. A presence on the internet is essential to escalate media interest, and promote SVS to others as a model of sustainable living.

What we did?

Made a beautiful but functional site with lots of regularly updated features, a media centre and a map to encourage use of local services, with a post-office petition and village notice board to come.

What was said?

"The SVS website has taken community enterprise into a new sphere. It provides a very smart and professional introduction to a small shop that has literally taken everybody by surprise... The site has contributed enormously to our marketing campaigns and will be a major feature in our plans for the future." Neil Johnson, SVS
